Recent Earthquakes In Alabama

You may have noticed a few small tremors in the past week. According to the USGS, Alabama was recently shaken by a few quakes with magnitudes between 1.0 and 3.0

On June 6th, a 1.0 magnitude earthquake shook areas of west Alabama, as the USGS reported. The surrounding areas affected include Scottsboro and Huntsville.

On June 9th, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake occurred north of Scottsboro. The surrounding areas affected include Eutaw and Tuscaloosa.
